.package file in case an app update overwrites unmanaged folders.Quick check.
- Copy the
.packagefile itself, not the ZIP or a folder. - Use the exact Scripts folder for your host app.
- Fully quit and reopen the DAW after copying the file.
- Open Keyboard Shortcuts and search "Select Equal Subpositions".
- If a command appears but does nothing, open a MIDI part and select at least one note first.
FAQ.
Does it work with humanized MIDI?
Yes. Smart tolerance catches humanized notes up to ±50 ticks (Studio One's default humanize range).
What about time signature changes?
The script detects time signature at the selected note's position. Bars display mode gives best accuracy for non-standard signatures like 3/4 or 7/4.
Can I use it on multiple machines?
Yes. One purchase is for one user. You may install it on a reasonable number of computers you own or control, as long as only you use it.
Which editions are supported?
Studio One editions with scripting support are supported, including Studio One 6, Studio One Pro 7, and Fender Studio Pro with scripting support.
Will I get updates?
Yes, v1.x updates are included at no extra cost. Future major versions may be separate products if the scope changes.
The script doesn't appear in Keyboard Shortcuts
Make sure the .package file is in the correct Scripts folder and you've restarted the DAW completely (not just the project).
Nothing happens when I run the script
Make sure you have at least one note selected in the Piano Roll before running the shortcut.
